We offer a benefits package better than companies many times our size.

Medical Insurance - We offer two plans provided by United Healthcare: United Health Care PPO Medical Plan or United Health Care High Deductible Health Plan. For both plans, Cumberland pays 100% of the plan premiums (not including out-of-pocket fees, co-pays, co-insurance etc.). For employees that choose the High Deductible Plan, Cumberland also makes cash contributions to a Health Savings Account ($800 annually for individuals, $1,600 annually for employees with a covered spouse or child and $2,000 for family coverage).

Dental Care - Provided by Delta Dental, Cumberland also pays 100% of the dental plan premiums (not including out-of-pocket fees, co-pays, co-insurance etc.).

401(k) Retirement Plan - Cumberland’s 401(k) plan is administered by The Hartford and offers a significant set of investment options. Employees can contribute up to 85% of pre-tax earnings (subject to federal limits). Cumberland contributes 3% of employees’ eligible compensation.  

Vacation & Holidays - 7 paid holidays and between 3 and 5 weeks of paid vacation (based on level).

Long-Term Disability (LTD) - Administered by the Principal Life Insurance Company, LTD provides a monthly benefit if an employee becomes disabled and is unable to work.

Life Insurance - Cumberland provides $50,000 of Life and AD&D insurance per employee.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP) - Available to all employees and their families to help with finding and managing child and elder care, legal or financial issues, relationship concerns, depression or anxiety and other issues.

Flexible Spending Account - Lowers your taxable income by reimbursing eligible and out-of-pocket medical, dental, and vision expenses on a pre-tax basis up to $5,000 per year (only available to employees not taking advantage of the Health Savings Account).

Dependent Day Care - Lets you lower your taxable income by reimbursing eligible day care and elder care expenses on a pre-tax basis up to $5,000 per year, per household.

Vision Care (TN Only) - The Spectra Network offered through our United Health Care Vision Care plan offers our employees savings on vision exams.
