Medical Insurance – Cumberland pays 100% of plan premiums for employees and their families and offers a choice of health plans. The first is a traditional Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) plan. The second is a High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP), coupled with a Health Savings Account (HSA) with funding by Cumberland. Both plans are provided by United Health Care.
Dental Care – Provided by Delta Dental, Cumberland also pays 100% of the dental plan premiums (not including out-of-pocket fees, co-pays, co-insurance etc.).
401(k) Retirement Plan – Cumberland’s 401(k) plan is managed by The Hartford and offers a significant set of investment options. Employees can contribute up to 85% of pre-tax earnings (subject to federal limits). Cumberland contributes 3% of employees’ eligible compensation (including both salary and bonus).
Vacation & Holidays – Unlimited Paid Time Off including seven company-observed holidays.
Long-Term Disability (LTD) – Administered by the Principal Life Insurance Company, LTD provides a monthly benefit if an employee becomes disabled and is unable to work. The program also provides rehabilitation services and incentives, return to work child care benefits and limited treatment of mental health and drug and alcohol abuse conditions.
Life Insurance – Cumberland provides $50,000 of Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) insurance per employee.
Flexible Spending Account – Lowers your taxable income by reimbursing eligible and out-of-pocket medical, dental, and vision expenses on a pretax basis up to $5,000 per year.
Dependent Day Care – Lets you lower your taxable income by reimbursing eligible day care and elder care expenses on a pretax basis up to $5,000 per year, per household.
Bonus Program – Employees are eligible to receive a year-end bonus based on company performance and individuals’ contributions.
Anniversary Bonus – All client-serving employees receive a $500 annual bonus payable on your Cumberland anniversary to be used any way the employee chooses.
Blue Cross Vision Plan – The Blue Cross Vision Plan offers employees significant savings on vision exams and eyewear at a wide range of participating providers.
