Matthew Good is a highly skilled healthcare IT executive with more than 20 years of consulting experience, with an emphasis on large-scale initiatives, specifically Electronic Medical Record (EMR) implementations. He was one of Cumberland’s first consultants, having previously worked with one of the “Big 5” consulting firms.
Matt has built his reputation as a project manager who can revive troubled projects. Over the past decade, he has successfully led three major ambulatory practice management/EMR implementation projects impacting more than 2,500 physicians in over 850 practices. In addition to his project management expertise, Matt has deep experience with data analytics, warehousing and conversions, having spent the early part of his professional career as a database architect/administrator.
Matt lives in Chicago with his wife and children. A certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Matt has extensive experience with ambulatory EMRs, including TouchWorks, eClinicalWorks, and Cerner systems. Matt holds a Master of Arts degree in Mathematics from Arizona State University and is a member of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society and the Project Management Institute.
