Jeff Sturman is an accomplished, results-driven implementation project executive with demonstrated success leading healthcare information technology initiatives. He brings nearly two decades of experience planning, managing and facilitating large system implementation projects, organizational change, operational impacts and overall governance. He is experienced in facilitating diverse groups of healthcare executives, physicians, revenue cycle, clinical and IT professionals in driving a broad range of complex initiatives to success.
Prior to joining Cumberland, Mr. Sturman was Vice President of Information Technology for Memorial Healthcare System in south Florida, where he held operational and project executive responsibilities for the implementation of revenue cycle, ambulatory and clinical systems.
Mr. Sturman holds a Master of Healthcare Administration and Health Services Management degree from the University of Missouri, Columbia, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Indiana University. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and previously served on the board of the South Florida HIMSS Chapter. He has extensive experience with Epic systems and is an active member of the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME), the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society and the American College of Healthcare Executives.
