Provider Division - Executive Consultant - Provider
Cumberland’s Provider Division provides high-quality project management, planning, analysis and implementation support services to clients in the acute care, ambulatory, and post-acute/long-term care markets. We offer advisory services related to affiliate solutions, system selection and planning, assessments, total implementation cost envelope development, and contract negotiation.
Position Overview
We are in search of a seasoned Consultant who will be responsible for managing the delivery of a client engagement. This position focuses primarily on the management and execution of the project and daily team oversight. The ideal candidate will have experience in clinical and/or billing Epic, Cerner, McKesson or similar EHR applications.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required with 5 or more years of hands-on experience
- Computer literacy, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Experience facilitating teams, including experience working with technical and non-technical staff
- Demonstrated project management skills including, Initiating, Planning, Executing, Controlling and Closing processes
- Demonstrated business development skills by participating in proposal development and presentations, and ability to identify and assist in the closure of add-on sales
- Lead/execute a client engagement of 2-6 people with limited day-to-day Partner/Principal supervision
- Oversee development of engagement deliverables
- Understand the basics of engagement financials
- Ability to travel extensively required
- Manage teams of up to 10 people with appropriate supervision
