Brian Junghans has extensive experience in Clinical Transformation, Revenue Cycle Transformation, Custom Systems Development, Package Selections, Strategic Information Systems Planning and Large Group Facilitation.
He has more than two decades of experience working with healthcare providers on projects involving process redesign, package implementations and troubled project recovery with underlying Clinical and Revenue Cycle processes in the largest, most complex environments. Mr. Junghans also has extensive custom systems development experience as a project manager and business analysis executive. He is a Certified Professional in Health Information Management Systems (CPHIMS) and an author of Cumberland’s implementation methodologies.
Mr. Junghans graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelor of Science in Medical Record Administration. He was formerly a Technology Services executive in the healthcare practice of Ernst & Young in Chicago. Prior to joining E&Y, he directed the Medical Information & Record Services Department at Holzer Medical Center. He is a member of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society, the Project Management Institute, Requirements Management with Use Cases and Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD).
