Mike Penich has over 15 years of consulting experience managing complex technology projects for clients across many industries including healthcare. He has worked with hospital systems, correctional health providers, federally qualified health centers, and managed care organizations.
Mike is a specialist in project management, large group facilitation, systems analysis and design, and requirements gathering and management. He has extensive experience leading both custom development and package implementation projects. Prior to joining Cumberland, Mike was a consultant at Ernst & Young in the firm’s Chicago Advanced Development Center.
Mike holds a Bachelor of Science in Operations Management & Information Systems from Northern Illinois University. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) through the Project Management Institute and is a member of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society.
