Cumberland Consulting Group Admits New Partner
Cumberland Consulting Group announces Jeffrey Sturman is named partner of the Nashville-based company. Sturman joins the partnership team of the firm’s four founding partners and four Cumberland veterans promoted from within.
With more than 17 years of experience, Sturman is an accomplished healthcare IT and consulting executive specializing in the delivery of complex healthcare technology. Prior to joining Cumberland, Sturman served as Vice President of Information Technology at Memorial Healthcare System in Hollywood, Florida. He began his career with Ernst & Young in Chicago as a consultant where he specialized in strategic information systems planning, system selections and the implementation of ambulatory and acute care healthcare package solutions. As a management team member of a subsidiary of the Rush System of Health, Sturman also helped develop a physician services organization which focused on billing services and technology implementation initiatives.
A certified Project Management Professional, Sturman is a member of the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives, American College of Healthcare Executives and the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society. He holds a Master of Health Administration from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Bachelor of Psychology from Indiana University-Bloomington.
