Cumberland Consulting Group, LLC announces the promotion of Saman Pourkermani to executive consultant. Since joining Cumberland in 2007, he has led health information technology (HIT) implementation projects for a broad range of organizations throughout the U.S., including ambulatory and acute health systems, insurance corporations, community health networks and correctional medical services providers. 

Mr. Pourkermani has acted in various capacities including project manager, system designer and requirements analyst. He specializes in HIT systems configuration, testing, end-user training and implementation support. Prior to joining Cumberland, he served as a senior analyst for Accenture.

Mr. Pourkermani holds a Master of Science in Management Information Systems and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois in Chicago. He is a member of the Project Management Institute.
