Cumberland Consulting Group announces the promotions of Charles Taylor to principal and Jose Gonzalez to executive consultant.

Charles Taylor manages health information technology (HIT) systems implementation projects, ranging from system selections, to financial, clinical and practice management system implementations and large-scale revenue cycle transformations. Prior to joining Cumberland in 2008, Taylor served as lead product manager for a national revenue cycle software vendor, and formerly helped lead Ernst & Young’s Health Provider Technology Enablement practice. He holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Old Dominion University.

Jose Gonzalez joined Cumberland in 2011. His background includes project management, HIT infrastructure, system interfaces and implementations in the provider and payer spaces. Gonzalez formerly provided strategic analysis expertise and managed various health reform initiatives for a nonprofit statewide health management organization. He holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Denver and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Minnesota.
