The Challenge
Cumberland assisted a large hospital system with a structural reorganization of its IT staff.
Cumberland’s Approach
Cumberland redefined IT positions to better align staff with roles and skill sets and designed a solution to manage the new organizational structure. The solution included a web-based application to maintain and track an individual’s competencies and allowed for complete management of the performance review and evaluation process. Multi-year project leveraged multiple implementation teams working in parallel with multiple departments simultaneously.
Results
The result was the successful implementation of the EMR for 600 physicians and 1,500 support staff in 40 specialties at more than 50 locations.
