Bonuses: Our bonus program is simple; If Cumberland does well, Cumberland’s employees will do well. We build our employee bonus into our business plan and we regularly report progress against the plan to all employees. If we exceed plan, we increase bonuses. No surprises.
Promotions: No quotas or schedules. When an employee is ready to perform at the next level and we have a business need for someone at that level, we make a promotion.
Performance Evaluations: No fake organization structures. Employees receive feedback on their performance by their direct manager on their client engagements. All of the partners review employee performance evaluations.

Opportunities at Cumberland
Consultant - Entry level to 3 years experience. Consultants assist our clients with the analysis of clinical and business workflow. They match software capabilities to the client’s requirements and assist with package configuration. Consultants will also provide support for training and go-live activities.
Managing Consultant - 2 to 8 years experience. Managing Consultants act as senior analysts or team leaders on client engagements. They may have responsibility for work planning and tracking...
Executive Consultant - 6 to 12 years experience. EC’s manage teams of up to 10 people within a multi-project program or act as the on-site manager for a small client engagement...
Principal - More than 10 years of experience. Principals may have complete responsibility for delivery of a client engagement and will manage the work of teams of 10 or more consultants or client personnel. Principals play a key role in the identification and closing of new business opportunities.
