Bonuses: Our bonus program is simple; If Cumberland does well, Cumberland’s employees will do well. We build our employee bonus into our business plan and we regularly report progress against the plan to all employees. If we exceed plan, we increase bonuses. No surprises.
Promotions: No quotas or schedules. When an employee is ready to perform at the next level and we have a business need for someone at that level, we make a promotion.
Performance Evaluations: No fake organization structures. Employees receive feedback on their performance by their direct manager on their client engagements. All of the partners review employee performance evaluations.
