NASHVILLE, Tenn. (February 9, 2015) – Veteran healthcare industry executive and Boston native Brian Cahill has been named CEO of Cumberland Consulting Group. Jim Lewis, who has served as Cumberland CEO since he founded the firm in 2004, assumes the role of chairman.

“Brian and I have worked together over the past few years, and I am confident that his 20 years of industry experience and strong leadership abilities will ensure the continued growth and success of Cumberland,” said Lewis.

Cahill joined the Cumberland board of directors in 2011. Prior to joining Cumberland, Cahill served as the president and chief operating officer for Newton, Mass.-based lifeIMAGE, where he was instrumental in the provider-focused healthcare technology company’s revenues growing four-fold in just two years. In addition, Cahill has held CEO and COO roles with eWebHealth, ChartOne and HPR. He began his career at Epsilon, a pioneer organization in CRM technology, where he served in a variety of positions.

Cumberland is one of the fastest-growing healthcare technology consulting firms in the industry.
