NASHVILLE, Tenn. (April 7, 2015) – Cumberland Consulting Group, LLC, a national information technology advisory, implementation and support services firm, recently added Gary Meyer as chief financial officer.

Meyer brings more than 30 years of experience collaborating with CEOs, private equity firms and boards to create shareholder value in a variety of industries. In his previous positions with private equity portfolio companies, Meyer’s versatility and analytical skills resulted in his taking on operational leadership roles, in which he developed and executed strategic growth plans that resulted in operational efficiencies and improvements in delivery and service.

Meyer has held executive positions in a number of organizations, including: Financial Chief, LLC, an organization devoted to transforming middle market private equity-backed companies; GreenSky, a leading company in the consumer finance marketplace specializing in home improvement and retail credit; PT&C, a global leader in project and program management, construction management, cost and schedule management, and technology solution services; Global Link Logistics, a leader in containerized ocean freight transportation and supply chain visibility; and Miller Zell, a retail design and development firm that helps create highly productive, functional and inspiring retail experiences for many of the largest national and international retailers.

Meyer graduated with honors from Duke University and holds a CPA certification with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
