Cumberland’ s Life Sciences division offers outsourced services with integrated enterprise-class technology and comprehensive advisory services related to contract, pricing and compliance including evaluation of reimbursement strategies, price optimization, gross-to-net analysis and analytical modeling. It operates as a system integrator offering customers services related to implementation, upgrades and mergers of revenue management software. In addition, it offers specialized consulting services in the pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on commercial and government contracting.

The Technical Analyst is a client-facing role in the Managed Services Technology group, which creates and supports software products for Cumberland’ s Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) services.  Responsibilities include prototyping, maintaining, and automating ETL/MFT/Reporting solutions for new opportunities, and managing client deliverables until those products can be transitioned to the operations group.  The Technical Analyst will work primarily on customer and membership validation tools under guidance of the Technical Solutions Lead.  Time will be roughly split 50/50 on client deliverables and product maintenance/development.  Candidates with strong backgrounds in product/software development, data science, data analysis and/or consulting are preferred.  The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and outcome-driven.  Technical proficiency in Excel and SQL will be assessed as a part of the interview process.  Experience with one or more programming languages is desired but not required. Candidates must have good communication skills and will be able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing in a clear and concise manner. Bachelor’ s degree in information technology or information systems is strongly preferred. Candidates with the applicable level of equivalent technical experience will also be considered. This position is based on-site daily in our Durham, NC operations center.
